How do the invitations work?
Customize an invitation from your dashboard by writing their name, selecting a gorgeous theme, and writing a personal message. We generate a private, secure link for you to share directly. When they open it, they can accept, plan an activity, and pick a date and time.
Does the recipient need to sign up?
No. The recipient doesn't need an account, app download, or email address to open and accept your invitation. It works instantly on any browser. Adding their email is completely optional, used only to send both of you a calendar confirmation once accepted.
What's included for free?
Everything you need to ask someone out: unlimited date invitations, all 24 romantic themes, all 16 sticker designs, 7-day invitation links with 15 unique opens, and email notification when they say yes. Free invites include a small 'Made with Will You?' watermark.
What does Date Lock unlock?
For a one-time $2.99, you offer two or three times and a location before sending. After they say yes, they choose one. Will You creates the calendar event and emails the confirmation. Custom styling and a watermark-free 14-day link are included for that invitation.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. The free plan is not a trial: unlimited invitations, all 24 themes, all 16 stickers, 7-day links with 15 opens, and an email when they answer. Upgrading is only for removing the small watermark and unlocking custom styling.
Why do invite links expire?
To keep your personal messages private and secure. Free invite links stay active for 7 days, and Date Lock links last 14 days. This ensures your links remain special and aren't left active indefinitely on the web.
How do stickers work?
Stickers add a beautiful, playful touch to the primary invitation screen. All 16 hand-drawn built-in stickers are included free. Date Lock also lets you upload one custom sticker image for that invitation.
How do purchases activate?
Payments are processed securely by Paddle. Once complete, your account updates automatically in a few seconds using signed webhooks. We never store or handle your card details directly.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Contact us with the transaction ID from your Paddle receipt and we will review the request under applicable consumer law.
Is my personal information safe?
Always. We collect only what is strictly necessary to create your invitations and process payments. We never sell your personal data or target you with ads. Your private details and invitation text stay entirely yours.
What happens after they say Yes?
On a free invitation, they choose an activity and time. With Date Lock, they choose one of the times and the location you already approved, so yes becomes a real calendar plan without another scheduling conversation.
